Embedded Systems & STM32 Firmware Development
As a mechatronics engineer I work where hardware meets software. I designed the system architecture and wrote all of the STM32-based firmware — including MAVLink communication — for a KOSGEB-funded autonomous drone charging station on my own, and ran an ESP32 smart-wristband project end to end, from hardware selection to software.
First step: Discovery & Feasibility — Free
Problems it solves
- You need firmware that reads sensors and reliably drives motors, relays or actuators.
- Your device has to talk to a drone, a ground station or a PC (MAVLink, RF, serial).
- The prototype works, but it has to become a product that runs reliably in the field.
- Critical functions such as power management and charging (BMS, solar) must be software-controlled.
- You want the embedded device connected end to end with a desktop or web interface.
What you get
- Embedded firmware in C / C++ for STM32, ESP32 or Arduino
- Sensor, motor and relay drivers, plus the control algorithms they need
- Communication: MAVLink, RF (RFD900x, XBee), serial
- A PC / ground-station monitoring interface where needed
- System architecture document, test records and source code
How we work
- 1
Free discovery call
I listen to your need, your current system and your goals, and we talk openly about what is technically feasible.
- 2
Scope and quote
A written scope, milestones, an exact price and a timeline. No surprise costs — what is included is clear from the start.
- 3
Build and regular demos
We progress step by step on the hardware; at every milestone I share a working prototype and test results.
- 4
Test and handover
Bench and field testing, then handover with source code and an architecture document.

Frequently asked questions
How much does embedded firmware development cost?
The price depends on the scope; there is no fixed price list. The easiest way to start is Discovery & Feasibility: requirements analysis, technical roadmap, rough plan and proposal document. Discovery and feasibility are free. The price and timeline of the project itself depend on its scope and come as a firm quote at the end of that work.
Which microcontrollers do you work with?
My projects use STM32, ESP32 and Arduino, with firmware written in C / C++. If you use a different platform, we evaluate it in the discovery call.
Do you also handle hardware selection and design?
My focus is embedded software and system architecture, and I also take on hardware selection and integration (on the smart wristband I handled hardware, design and software on my own). For work that requires a custom board, we define the scope in the call.
Can you build an embedded system that talks to a drone / UAV?
Yes. In the autonomous drone charging station, the STM32 control board talks to the UAV over RFD900x using MAVLink, reads voltage / current sensors and drives step motors and relays.
Prototype or product?
Both. We can turn an idea into a working prototype, or mature an existing prototype into a product that runs reliably in the field.
Do you work remotely, and in which languages?
Yes. I am based in Türkiye (GMT+3) and work remotely with clients worldwide; meetings are held in Turkish or English and scheduled around your time zone.
